I was a Riverina rice, sheep and vegetable farmer until 1977 when the changing forces that demand new paths descended upon me. I packed my suitcase and embarked on a new journey into the creative arts, a journey that still finds me on the bus in the year 2000.
The Bus ride turned out to be a wild Bull ride, which is quite ok, considering that I am still alive. The bruises on my butt are the closest thing to a tattoo that I will probably ever get.
I have seen and been many things in the last 20 years. As I write this I can claim, for better or worst, 14 years of full time teaching art in TAFE colleges at Orange and Goulburn.
Through the arts I have met the extremes of human condition, sycophants, butt kissers, pole sitters, revolutionaries, lying cheating bastards, brainless dick heads, psychopaths, TAFE bureaucrats, geniuses, lovers and my beautiful wife.
Having been most of the above myself I do not throw stones.
I would not change anything they have all made my life worthwhile.
'If your not dead, you still have a chance to make the rest of your life fantastic'
